Jennifer had just left a corporate job and was thinking of starting her own business when the Affordable Care Act came out. As she learned more about ACA, she found vendors that were providing plans that made more sense for people she knew. She realized that you could help several different people by becoming a broker and tailoring plans around an individual, not offering a one-size-fits-all plan.

Jake got into the insurance industry right out of college after exhausting all of his professional football options. As a 3-year captain and 4-year letterman at the University of Arizona, Jake was always in a competitive and thriving environment. At first, his services were primarily focused on life insurance and investments. Since then, he and his wife have found a unique niche in health insurance.

While Jake still helps clients with their life insurance and investment objectives, Arizona Health Insider has taken off because of the demand for affordable health insurance.

Jake and Jen have been married since 6/9/2021 and their business is thriving. They currently reside in Chandler, Arizona, and have 3 wonderful dogs.

Doug and Ronna Sue Stubbs

Doug and Ronna Sue met Jake and Jen through BNI (Business Network International) in 2020 and immediately created a friendship. Doug has over 30 years in the Oil and Fuel Distribution industry as the Branch and Sales Manager.

When Jen and Jake began their expansion into Yuma, Doug knew he could enjoy retirement and create a business that would impact the community in a positive way. Doug was intrigued with the aspect of helping local businesses, especially amongst the blue-collar community. Choosing Arizona Health Insider will provide benefits that Yuma businesses can afford for their employees; will give Yuma a local representative to be in their corner to help navigate the industry, and an affordable easily managed health insurance plan.

Doug and Ronna Sue have been married for 25 years, have a combined family of 5 children and 14 grandchildren, and 2 Goldendoodles that run the household.

Sean and Reina Dreeszen

Sean, who is a full-time videographer, met Jake at a BNI (Business Networking International) visit and saw value in the health insurance plan Jake had to offer for himself, as he was self-employed and needed an affordable plan with great coverage. Jake mentioned that he was looking to expand his team and thought it would be a great opportunity for his wife, Reina.

Having been through some tough times dealing with her own health, Reina saw how flawed the insurance system was—managing many different doctors, prescriptions, and health plans. She wanted to make a difference by providing an affordable healthcare option that could help families, small business owners, and the self-employed who need to protect themselves, their loved ones, and their employees because they are the asset.

She didn’t want people to discover how broken the healthcare system is only when it’s too late and they’re fighting their way out of debt while healing from illness or injury.

Sean and Reina have been married since 08/18/2013. Originally from Aurora, Colorado, they relocated to Arizona in early 2022 and currently live in San Tan Valley. They have two children, Tylia (20) and Amory (18), and three chi-weenies that complete the family.

Teri Encinas

Working in the medical field for nearly two decades, Terri Encinas has assisted countless patients in understanding their medical insurance benefits. Whether working in the front office of a physician specialist, or for the City of Tucson Fire Department as a medical coder and biller, she has always gone beyond the scope of her duties to help people wherever she could. Over the years, Terri noticed how medical policies in America had drastically changed after the Affordable Care Act was passed in 2010. She realized that if one was not afforded a subsidy by the government, these plans were unaffordable. When she found that there was a way to customize individual plans that are much more affordable, Terri jumped at the chance to tell as many families as possible! In June of 2021 she became a licensed health insurance broker in the state of Arizona. Her priority is making sure people know about Arizona Health Insider and the plans that are available to them. People don’t know what they don’t know, and Terri wants Arizonan’s to know there is a more affordable alternative to the other plans in the marketplace. Terri lives in Tucson, AZ and has been married to her loving husband Edward for 15 years. Together they have two daughters and one son, all young adults making their way in the world. Besides helping her clients and loving the time she gets with her family, Terri enjoys golfing, hiking, meditating, and spending time with her many pets.

Hi, my name is Kathryn Chamberlain! I have been licensed for property and casualty for over 2 years and got licensed for health and life insurance in 2024! I have a passion for the insurance industry and love getting to expand my knowledge everyday! I got my bachelor’s degree in 2023 from GCU! In my spare time, I love binge watching shows, swimming, hot yoga, and trying new restaurants.
